- Test every detector, call point, sounder, and interface during commissioning.
- Coordinate with other trades to prevent damage to installed fire alarm devices.
- Ensure the fire alarm is functional or temporary protection is in place overnight.
- Use correct access equipment for ceiling-mounted device installation at height.
- Document all installation and commissioning test results for certification handover.
