Description
The Allocation Sheet is a VBA-enabled daily labour and plant record designed for construction site supervisors who need to document workforce deployment, plant usage and material deliveries each day. Hours are allocated against up to 10 numbered site operations, giving a clear breakdown of where labour and plant time was spent across different work fronts or activity codes.
Each daily sheet captures weather conditions (morning and afternoon), materials delivered to site, and includes a client representative sign-off block for formal daily record agreement. The VBA macros provide two key time-saving features: a one-click PDF email distribution button that generates a PDF of the current day's sheet and emails it to a pre-configured distribution list via Outlook, and a Create New Day macro that archives the current sheet and generates a fresh blank for the next working day with all header information (project name, contract number, site team) carried forward automatically.
The template is designed for daily use on active construction sites and produces professional, print-ready records suitable for QS daywork substantiation, contract correspondence and project filing.
