Description
The Site Operative Scorecard is an Excel-based individual performance management tool for construction site workers. Each operative can receive up to 10 periodic reviews, with each review scoring 10 weighted metrics: punctuality, safety compliance, PPE usage, quality of work, productivity, housekeeping, tool care, hazard reporting, teamwork and communication. Scores use a 1β5 anchored scale with descriptors defining what each level means, ensuring fair and consistent assessment across different reviewers.
An auto-generated action plan identifies low-scoring areas from each review and suggests specific improvements, giving supervisors a ready-made development conversation framework. The action plan tracks progress against previous reviews so both the supervisor and operative can see whether targeted areas are improving.
The dashboard shows the operative's latest overall score, performance category (e.g. Excellent, Good, Needs Improvement), a trend chart plotting scores over time and a rolling average. A scorecard summary sheet compares all reviews side by side, making it easy to track long-term development. The template is designed for site supervisors and foremen managing individual operative performance on construction projects.
