HAVS Monitoring Register

The HAVS Monitoring Register is a comprehensive Excel-based exposure management tool designed for construction and civil engineering teams working with vibrating equipment. It uses the HSE daily exposure points method to calculate Hand-Arm Vibration exposure for each operative, drawing from a pre-loaded tool library that includes manufacturer vibration magnitudes and trigger times for common plant and power tools found on UK construction sites.

Each operative is tracked individually with their own exposure log, recording which tools they use, for how long, and the resulting daily A(8) exposure value. The system supports configurable active and inactive operative status so leavers and new starters are handled cleanly without disrupting historical records. Tool library entries can be edited or extended to match your specific fleet.

The filterable dashboard provides monthly exposure point charts, top-contributor analysis by operative and tool type, and summary KPIs showing how many operatives are approaching or exceeding action and limit values. All outputs are formatted for audit use and health surveillance evidence packs, aligned with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.
