Description
The Office Fire Risk Assessment is a questionnaire-driven Excel template designed for assessing fire risk in construction site offices, cabins and temporary accommodation. It contains 38 structured control checks across 17 sections covering means of escape, fire detection and warning systems, firefighting equipment, electrical safety, housekeeping, storage of flammable materials, emergency lighting, signage and staff training.
Each check returns an automatic compliance or noncompliance status, and the results feed into a 5×5 likelihood × severity risk matrix that produces colour-coded risk ratings — Low (green), Medium (amber), High (orange) and Critical (red). The live dashboard presents a section-by-section compliance breakdown with visual indicators, giving the responsible person an immediate overview of where the gaps are.
Supporting sheets include an Action Plan for recording remedial actions with owners and target dates, an Emergency Plan template, a Fire Safety Log for recording drills, equipment checks and maintenance visits, and a Review History sheet for tracking periodic reassessments.
