Description
The Weekly Inspection Rota is a single-sheet Excel template that provides a rolling weekly inspection schedule for construction sites. Inspectors are assigned to weekly slots across the full project duration using L (Lead) and S (Support) role designations, making it immediately clear who is responsible for leading each week's inspections and who is providing backup coverage.
Week-commencing date columns are generated automatically based on the project start date, so the rota extends across the full programme without manual date entry. The layout is designed as a wall chart format β landscape orientation with inspectors listed down the left and weeks running across the top β so it can be printed at A3 or A1 and displayed in the site office for daily reference.
The template is designed for site managers and H&S coordinators who need a visual, accessible inspection schedule that the whole team can see. It covers any type of recurring weekly inspection including safety tours, environmental walks, housekeeping checks and plant inspections.
