Description

The WwTW Valve Schedule is an Excel-based valve management tool designed for wastewater treatment works construction and commissioning projects. The valve register records each valve with area, system, auto-generated Valve ID (format VLV-[AreaCode]-[SystemCode]-[TagSequence]), P&ID reference, service description, valve type (gate, knife gate, butterfly, ball, check, plug, diaphragm, pinch, globe, control valve and more), function (isolation, control, non-return, throttling, pressure reducing, sampling, bypass, scour), actuation method, fail position, DN, pressure rating, body and trim materials, and status.

Valve status tracks the full delivery lifecycle β€” Design, Procured, Delivered, Installed, Tested, Commissioned, Operational, Defect, Isolated and Decommissioned β€” giving the commissioning team visibility of every valve's progress from design through to handover. Dropdown lists for areas, systems, valve types, actuation methods, ratings and materials are fully configurable on a dedicated Lists sheet, and new values can be added without breaking existing data.

An auto-generated Drawing Summary sheet aggregates valve counts by P&ID reference, showing installed, commissioned, operational and defect counts per drawing. The live dashboard presents headline KPIs including total valves, installed percentage, commissioned percentage, operational percentage, open defects, high-criticality counts and actuation type breakdowns. The template is designed for MEICA engineers, commissioning managers and operations teams on wastewater treatment works projects.
